Next decision is if SeaMonkey does a 2.49ESR and the next afterward is likely if own builders can be used/installed somewhere. Together with IBM truly bungling it you know the result.

The source code is mostly good shape and has a few more releases in it. Discussion of general topics about Seamonkey. This is unfortunate as what ‘should’ have happened was we release a version which would act as a watershed to check for CPU SSE and report (in the case of not having CPU SSE) that the user’s system is not supported anymore. Yet downloads end up in tmp/mozillaandy0 I have also used about:config and the dl dir is set correctly. A group of very active SeaMonkey developers make up the SeaMonkey Council, which is responsible for project and release management. I set my download directory to andy/Downloads.
As per the FAQ, This is what I have tried.
They are moving to cloud based builders and I suspect hope to leave us in the dust if they even know SeaMonkey still exists. SeaMonkey 2.46 (Well, it would’ve started with 2.44) will not work with systems that do not have CPU SSE. I am using the same version of Seamonkey on my re-install as the previous installation. Windows builders are broken for almost 2 years now (building is done manually on a loaner so its likely 圆4 versions will not be created either because of manpower needed) and my personal opinion is that Mozilla just stalls and ignores the request for upgrading them. Next try to get extensions bundled with 2.48. Where is everyone Why has there been no posts or mentions (and a host of other questions) Just want to mention that 2.46 is currently being spun and by spun, I mean wrenched like loosening a very tight bolt that’s been superglued to the screw.
SeaMonkey builders are old and upgrading the builders will probably not happen. Downloading The SeaMonkey project provides official versions of SeaMonkey 2. But the changes and omissions (ChatZilla, Lightning, etc) make you wonder about SeaMonkey's future.
